What is Emotional Intelligence?

When we can understandmanage, and express our emotions; and understand and manage the emotions of others, it means we have some level of Emotional Intelligence. Unlike IQ, Emotional Intelligence isn’t often taught in schools, hence sometimes you may not understand your emotional triggers nor what you are feeling or why you have certain emotions. Yet, Emotional Intelligence is one of the most sought-after skills, helping us maintain a great attitude, build resilience during difficult times, and live happier and fulfilled lives. 

The good news is that Emotional Intelligence can be harnessed and learned, and as time goes on and with practice, we are able to easily manage our emotions and eventually our life.  Learning about our emotions gives us clues on the things that truly bring us joy, and helps us understand what we need to do to take care of our mind, body, and spirit so that we can be there for ourselves as well as for others.

Frequently Asked Questions

There are four modules in this course, and you get 7 weeks to go through these Modules. Modules are released on a weekly basis, with implementation weeks in between to give you a chance to work on the exercises and manage your progress.

You can follow the course guidelines weekly or do it at your own pace.

We understand that some days get busier than others, so just pick up where you left off. We recommend going through all the modules and exercises to get the full benefit of the course. You have lifetime access to the course so take your time if you need to. You can always come back to the course whenever you are ready.

Most videos are anywhere between 10 – 15 minutes because we believe in micro-learning and continuing to the next video only after finishing previous exercises. It would be best to put aside 15 – 20 minutes every day to watch a lesson of the module, which makes learning simpler and less overwhelming as you move forward.

We understand some days are busier than others and you may follow more lessons in one day if you wish. Therefore, we release an entire module each week, so you can learn based on the time you have on hand.

You must have internet access to follow the course on your pc, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.

We recommend putting aside 10 – 15 minutes every day or approximately 90 minutes each week to go through each module. There is a total of four modules in this course.
